ONEMANA BEACH

Nestled in an area of outstanding beauty in the Coromandel Peninsula, North Island,
New Zealand, this eastwardly facing coastline enjoys a mild sub-tropical climate with
numerous golden sand beaches, secluded bays and sparkling ocean expanses,
making it an ideal destination for a beachside holiday.

Onemana beach is one of the most secluded and picturesque of all the beaches in
the Coromandel with excellent views out to the Alderman Islands.

It is ideal for swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing,
scuba diving and sun bathing. Nearby there are a selection of beautiful bush walks
(some with waterfalls), private picnic areas and exciting mountain biking trails.

Other diversions are two free of charge tennis courts, a wonderful children’s
playground, a small dairy for all your holiday supplies and an excellent alfresco
café and restaurant ideal for breakfast, coffee or an evening out.

The nearby township of Whangamata (10 minutes drive away) caters for most other
needs having an excellent supermarket, petrol stations, boat ramp/fishing club,
golf course, doctors surgery, boutiques, galleries, gift shops, restaurants and bars.

LOCATION

Located just 2 hours from Central Auckland and Hamilton and 1.5hrs from Tauranga,
it is easily accessible for domestic and international travelers alike.
